Coming to Back to School Night? Drop by and see the improved computer lab, 31 state-of-the-art personal computers on Windows XP or 2000. We're very excited about the lab and Mrs. Caine is busy developing a curriculum to take full advantage of the latest technology.

Our lab computers, printers and other technology, such as the new DVD player and digital camera, were all donated. Finding funds is a key objective of the technology group. However, we need to expand the Technology Group program to do more than just raise money. Our goal is ensure that we, in conjunction with the school district, can meet the technology needs of our school. Our ideas include:

• Participating in the technology decision making processes that happen at school AND district level.
• Fundraising to pay for additional educational and monitoring software and equipment.
• Keeping the Lab open 100% during school sessions, to allow students to work on their Reading Readiness and Math skills and to improve annual state test scores.
• Offering a lunch or after school PC and Web club for students interested in playing with PCs and building Web pages, including working on our own Web site.
