Get your Horner forms filled out and returned-by Friday. Must have PGE bill PLUS DMV car registration, prop. tax bill...read to be sure your second form will be accepted.

Show spring pictures to parents and return or order pics by Fri. or you will be charged for all.

Bring your fieldtrip permission slip and $28.00, or payment, by 3/21. If you haven't brought you money yet, you can bring it in any time until 3/21, a week before the field trip.

Reading: Read 20-30 minutes. Fill in log, get parent signature and bring log and book to class everyday. Logs due Friday for everyone. When you finish a book, take your AR test and fill out a finished book form.

Make sure your book is your level for AR. To check the level use: www.arbookfind.com and just put the title in. The level is next to the points.

**Math homework: Lesson 9.5 study guide, #s 3 and 4 from class work: use math journal to help you along. Math log has begun. 3 problems per day from math book from spiral review sections: no credit unless proper amount of work is shown.

New Math Homework RULES:
1) NO PEN, pencil only
2) DO NOT do your math on the worksheet
3) Only do your homework on BINDER paper
4) Copy the number AND the problem down
5) Show your work NEATLY and in an organized fashion
6) Make an answer key on the right hand side
7) Number your answer key

*****Science: upcoming science fair: be working on your project-all at home-no class time. Plate tectonics work will begin Tues., 3/10.

So far, I have collected NOUNS and VERBS and PRONOUNS,
Subject/Predicate, Adjectives, Adverbs, Linking verbs, Prepositions and Prepositional Phrases, and Helping Verbs; we are working on clauses and subordinating conjunctions, final drafts. We have begun participles, participial phrases, and gerunds (all verb forms used as ajectives, adverbs, or nouns (gerunds)).


*****EVERY Tuesday night, study for D.O.L. Quizzes on Wednesdays.

***Social Studies: work on group poster for Egypt, if not finished and The Gifts of the Nile poster.

*****Writing: We have begun final copies for response to literature/poem-2 paragraphs: will collect soon.
