HISTORY 7, ENGLISH 7, Daily Homework

World History and Geography: Medieval and Early Modern Times Students will study a variety of cultures and their influence on our world today.

English will be made up of the following:
*The study of vocabulary, grammar, and punctuation
*Essays and reports of information (stored in Writing Portfolios)
*Class reading and study of one or more novels
*Class reading and study of selections from literature text
*Independent reading of novels
*Oral presentations and brief speeches
*Listening and evaluation skills

Expectations: HOW CAN YOU HELP YOURSELF TODAY??????
*Bring binder, homework, pencil/pens, paper, READ book DAILY
*Write down all assignments in the Horner Assignment Book
*Keep track of grades on Student Grade Summary Sheet
PAPERS ARE RETURNED ON FRIDAYS.

DETENTIONS
Detention Reflections must be completed by the student and checked/signed by the parent/guardian. They are due the next school day. Failure to turn in a detention reflection is "cutting" detention. The detention is then processsed through the vice principal's office.
