PARENT/TEACHER/STUDENT CONFERENCES - NOV. 18 - 20 (3:30-7:00) - It is important that you understand that conferences at the secondary level are conducted a little differently than the conference arrangements you have been used to at the elementary level. An elementary teacher has only 30 students while a junior high teacher has between 130 and 200 students. We will not be able to schedule an individual appointment for each parent and teacher. It will be important that you try and arrange your schedule in order to meet on the appointed day.
We would like to focus the conferences with students who received a “D” or ”F”. If your student has received a passing grade please limit your conversation with their teachers. If you are unable to attend during your scheduled time, you may attend on Nov. 20 from 3:30 – 7:00. Conferences will end promptly at 7:00. Please arrive no later then 6:30 to see all teachers. We look forward to meeting with you!
2008 CONFERENCE TIMES
Pick up report cards in the library and then conference with the teachers in their assigned classrooms. A map and classroom assignment sheet will be available in the library with the report cards.
