Horner PTSA Volunteer Information

It's Your PTSA!

Note: All PTSA meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month in Room 4 at Horner from 7:00-8:30 pm.

Actively participating in your PTSA is one important way to show your students that you believe their education is important. Attending meetings allows you to give input on what types of parent education topics or activities you wish to support. It's also a chance to connect with other parents, as well as members of the Horner Junior High Staff.

The PTSA offers many services and opportunities for parent participation. These include helping out on MAZE Day and Parent/Teacher conferences, support for staff hospitality and scoliosis screening and getting involved in fun activites such as student dances.

Through the efforts of the PTSA, Horner students get the extra dollars they need for emergency supplies, school newsletters, report card postage, and 7th and 8th grade promotion events.
