Gifted And Talented Education (GATE)

Mailing of student educational opportunities, grants, family activities, events, and registration information will be sent to (The Gifted in Fremont) TGIF members. To join TGIF, please fill out the TGIF application and mail it to TGIF. The application can be found at GATE Application.

NOVEMBER FIELD TRIP

NOMINATIONS for G.A.T.E. IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS
Counselors will coordinate identification process at the secondary level. The GATE Program Specialist will review any students who may be eligible under specific academic ability and professional judgment and recommend Fall placement.

GATE NEWS:
Alex Ellenberg was awarded a grant from the California Gifted Association to create a directory of games that have educational value. Parents, teachers, and students are welcome to send the name of any game they feel should be included in the directory to Alex at gamesdirectory@yahoo.com. Games will be categorized in the directory by subject/topic, genre, age group, and game platform. Students who are interested in assisting with the project or participating in the project's game testing should contact Alex at gamesdirectory@yahoo.com
